Over the course of 6 retreats, 19 interviews with experts, multiple laboratory consultations and hundreds of hours of research The Peace Offering team has amassed and integrated a huge amount of health data for improving mood, hormones, energy, sleep, metabolic health, gut health, weight and wellbeing.

We distilled all of this into an 8 week, online training where Jonathan Rickert will guide you to high energy health through learning about and optimizing mitochondrial function.

In this course you will learn:

  • How to order your own blood labs and interpret the values

  • About metabolic health, sugar handling and how that impacts cardiovascular status and cholesterol

  • Why caloric restriction, fasting (including intermittent fasting), and low carb diets create a stress landscape in your body and slow your metabolism

  • How much and what kinds of foods to eat to reverse low metabolism

  • About crucial micronutrients that improve energy production that are missing from most diets

  • How the gut influences mood, sleep and metabolic health

  • Natural actions to bring your body and mind into a high energy state

This course will take place weekly for 1.5 hrs, each session over Zoom for 2 months (8 sessions).

To participate you’ll need to order a panel of blood labs ( $398 females, $454.50 males - the lab may change the price) and optionally, a gut test ($363). Test results come to you in 2-3 weeks.

Each module will be recorded for your playback at a later time along with accompanying slide deck PDFs of each module. Video recipes will also be provided to easily incorporate novel foods into your diet.

FAQs

How do I order labs?

On week 1 of the course Jonathan will walk you through the ordering process.

Does it matter where I am in my cycle when I test?

Yes! If you are a cycling woman, ideally you want to get your blood drawn on Day 21 +/- 2days. This is when progesterone should peak and is crucial to understanding your overall hormone profile. If Day 21 is after April 19, email us for instructions on how to get this done before the course starts so you have your results in time.

What if I’m traveling?

Laura Patterson

The Peace Offering Founder— Regenerative Farmer & Cooking Instructor

Laura is a healer, farmer, chef, yoga instructor, and runs a healing arts studio in Truckee, CA. She runs two separate organic and biodynamic orchards and vegetable, herb, and plant medicine gardens. She teaches classes about cooking and using food as medicine. She teaches the importance of using fresh and thoughtfully grown produce, and supporting farms that use regenerative agriculture. On her two farms she hosts retreats, cooks all the food for the retreats, and teaches farming and cooking classes. She teaches to grow food and cook in a way that is healing for the earth and healing for our bodies. All her produce is intentionally grown to be medicine. She is a part of the process through the whole life cycle, living in harmony with the earth and cooking with love.

Laura believes in eating the rainbow, being thoughtful, and giving thanks, knowing that everything comes from the earth. She believes the key component to health is growing, harvesting, cooking and eating in gratitude, so the food we eat can be healing and fill us with love.
